Alpha & Omega Farm is a 45-acre facility that has a nice mix of natural and shady areas and open pastures enclosed by solid 3-board fencing.  Each of our 5 fields (to be cross-sectioned into paddocks) vary in size from medium turnouts, to pastures with 8-15 acres in which horses may graze and roam as they please.  Our pastures provide shade from the blazing South Carolina sun in the form of large mature trees and the horses are granted free access to a fresh water supply through daily cleaned troughs. Aditionally we have a rotational grazing system so the horses are periodically rotated from each pasture in an effort to prevent the over-grazing of any one field and preserve the value in each area. Additionally, they are dragged (for manure spreading) and weed treated along fence lines.

Our fields from April to October are usually very lush with seeded bahia grass so it's usually not necessary to offer your horse additional hay.  In the winter months however, it's important horses receive hay in order to get roughage intake; Therefore in winter only we feed Alfalfa or Alfalfa/grass mixture. Fresh water in clean troughs is available at all times.  All fencing is safe for horses and always will be. All Fields ARE BARB WIRE FREE - We do not use any kind of barb wire which can be a major hazard.
